Southington, CT – The Southington Public Library is pleased to announce that our new building construction project is about to begin and we are delighted. Whiting Turner, our construction management company, will install a temporary fence around the new construction site. This will limit parking to the lot East of the existing building which is accessible from Meriden Avenue. We expect this fence to go up the week of July 17. During construction the library will continue to be open and we will continue to provide our usual excellent services to the public. This fence will be up until the project is complete, estimated to be September 2024. Check our website for building project updates: southingtonlibrary.org/building-project-updates.
