Teen Summer Reading 

​​For ages 12-18

This summer, summer reading for teens will go a little differently!

From June 16th through August 8th, teens entering 9th through 12th grades will have a chance to win scratch tickets. Scratch tickets can be redeemed for prizes, gift cards, and books. While some tickets will be for specific prizes like candy or small items, raffle tickets will be eligible to be put into drawings for larger prizes. Only raffle tickets are eligible for raffle items.

How can you get scratch tickets?

  • Attending Teen Advisory Board (TAB)  meetings
  • Attending Teen programs
  • Checking out library materials (one ticket per day regardless of the number of items checked out)
  • Logging your reading on the Beanstack app
  • Participating in Book Bingo​​



Tickets can only be redeemed with Teen Librarian Jasmine. If she is not in when you visit the library, save your tickets! You can find a more detailed explanation of the summer reading process in the pdf below!
