Spooky Southington Writing Contest
In October 2023, Southington residents of all ages were encouraged to submit an original spooky story to our 1st annual library-wide writing contest.
In October 2024, we put out the call again for the spookiest Southington based stories our patronage could come up with. With that, we were able to publish another amazing volume of spooky stories.
Below you will find the complete collection of stories compiled in Spooky Southington Vol. 1 & Spooky Southington Vol. 2. We are in the process of publishing a hard copy of Vol. 2, available for check out, to be added to our local author collection. Please be patient with us while we work on making the physical copy available and, in the meantime, enjoy the product of your community's hard work.
