Ways to Give
The Southington Public Library and Barnes Museum is a town department and receives the majority of its operating funding from the Town of Southington.
Additional support from the Friends of the Library and generous donors like you allows the library to provide an up-to-date collection of materials to borrow, fun and educational programs for people of all ages, and a warm and welcoming building where community members can study, read, and learn.
The Library has two funds managed by the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain to support library services:

Capital Needs Fund
Contributions to the Capital Needs Fund support the physical needs of the Library, including technology, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment to make the Library a comfortable and accessible space for all. Click Here to Donate |
Library Endowment Fund
Contributions to the Library Endowment Fund support the fund’s ability to generates annual income for the Library that allows us to provide additional materials and programs. Click Here to Donate |
