As of July 2023 Our cricut Is Not Available to the Public.
The Southington Library has a Cricut Maker and a Cricut Easy Press 2 available for public use.
To use the Southington Library's Cricut products, you must:
Have a valid Library card from any Connecticut public library.
Have basic proficiency in the use of Cricut Design Space, Cricut Maker and/or Cricut Easy Press 2 (must watch instructional videos and read instructions, left and below).
Be age 13 or older. Children ages 12 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who also has basic proficiency in the use of Cricut products.
Sign the Library's Rules of Use Card (will be signed at the library at your first usage).
Book a Cricut Session.
Design Space
Users must provide their own device in order to access Design Space. Design Space is free to use either on a PC, tablet or smartphone, but you will need to create an account in order to access it. There are additional options available to purchase within the software. Your device must have either Bluetooth or USB capabilities in order to transfer designs to the Cricut for cutting.

You may book a two-hour block of time, with all sessions ending 30 minutes before the Library closes.
You may book sessions up to 30 days in advance.
Users must stay at the workstation at all times.
No food or drinks are allowed at the workstation.
We have a limited amount of Cricut supplies available. If you are in need of something specific, or you would like to, you may provide your own materials to use in the Cricut.
